TMR Customer Service Centre

MODE partnered with the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) to design and deliver a new Customer Service Centre (CSC) fitout to an existing tenancy in Lissner Street, Toowong.

The Lissner St CSC is the first Customer Service Centre of its kind for TMR.
Lissner Street was the test fit case study for the implementation of an alternative customer focused model and MODE delivered a high quality, flexible, functional design alternative that maximised the operational services and customer experience for TMR. To achieve our clients’ vision, MODE assigned a specialised multidisciplinary design team to the project of architects, interior designers and graphic designers. The visual graphics, along with the use of vibrant colours - traffic yellow for public and apple green for staff areas – work integrally with the directional space planning and material selection to delineate public and back of house zoning. Security, zoning and movement were also considered throughout the fitout, ensuring staff have a secure line for safety without this being extremely obvious to the public.
