Redlands Coast Regional Sport & Recreation Precinct
MODE’s Landscape Architects and Architects worked with Aurecon, SportENG and Dirtz Track to develop the Concept Design for the Redlands Coast Regional Sport and Recreation Precinct, a massive 101 hectare site includes 47 hectares dedicated to sport and recreation.
Client: Canterbury College
Location: Mt Cotton, QLD
Complimenting the surrounding landscape, the design of the clubhouses within the precinct, act to entice people to engage with the built form whilst maintaining the relationship with the surrounding sporting fields, bush and wetlands. This relationship is highlighted through the use of elevated podiums, passive vs active viewing and open social foyers - the glass facades providing expansive views of the sports fields and the broader landscape of the sports precinct.
