Gladstone East Shores Parklands

Gladstone East Shores 1B is the second phase of rehabilitation parkland works for the Port of Gladstone.

As part of this important regional project, MODE worked with Gladstone Ports Corporation to deliver the waterfront cafe (Auckland House), amenities, BBQ and picnic shelters, the cruise terminal plaza, and the structure for the outdoor cinema.

Existing infrastructure including the barge/ship loading conveyor, HMAS Gladstone and numerous heritage artefacts, including vessels and facilities, have been preserved for reuse on-site to pay homage to the calcite piles and infrastructure that once operated on the site.
