This building provides the Casuarina Police Station with a state-of-the art facility that caters for the current operational needs of the police and provides capacity for future expansion.

The building is designed to provide open plan spaces, amenities and facilities that allow the police to effectively carry out their operations. General work areas are designed to allow plenty of natural light penetration providing a comfortable working environment for staff. The Police Station incorporates a disaster relief facility in order to provide shelter as well as maintain law and order in the event of a natural disaster. The building fronts 3 streets and is designed to provide casual visual surveillance to these 3 sides. The public entry to the building is located to address 2 of these streets and mark a clear entry point for the public when approaching the building from a distance.
