Project Completion: Bayview Street Social Housing, Labrador QLD

We’re proud to announce the completion of a new social housing project in Labrador, QLD, delivering 15 one-bedroom apartments across a thoughtfully designed four-storey building.

Commissioned by the Department of Energy and Public Works, this project supports a diverse tenant mix—including seniors, young people, and people with disabilities—through inclusive, accessible design and well-connected amenities.

MODE was engaged across all phases of design and delivery, from early schematic design through to construction documentation and client-side support. The final outcome reflects our 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗡𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗘𝗗 By Design approach: human-focused, efficient, and rooted in community.

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀:

• 15 self-contained one-bedroom apartments

• Private balconies and natural light to every unit

• Ground-level car parking and communal open space

• Delivered on time and within budget

A big thank you to our client and collaborators for making this meaningful project a success.
