Last October, MODE held its annual 2018 Leadership Summit in Brisbane. Leaders from all studios across Australia and New Zealand came to discuss the future of the company and its staff. During the summit, the firm took the opportunity to introduce the Leadership Team to the Brisbane studio, as well as announcing new appointments.

To continue the strategy of ‘consolidated growth’ across Australia, New Zealand and Vietnam, MODE was pleased to announce the recent appointment of David Kelly as Associate Director, Suzannah Harvey as Sunshine Coast Studio Manager, Liam Cridland as National Landscape Manager and Brunilda Brookes (Auckland), Chris Rodgers (Brisbane) and Stuart Preston (Perth) as Associates.

The emphasis of the Leadership Summit was to build upon and hone the strengths of MODE and the framework that has been developed over the past 27 years. MODE recognises the prospects for success are endless, but what every company needs are great business leaders with an aligned core vision.

This plan will support further development and allow for even greater autonomy and support structures for the 10 national and international MODE studios.

It is expected that these new appointments will continue to accelerate growth exponentially for the practice, as a leader across all sectors and geographically across Australasia as MODE nears closer to a total workforce of 150 full-time employees.

Additional growth and specialisation are anticipated within the major sectors of those disciplines offered at MODE, including urban design, master planning, architecture, interior design, landscape architecture and graphic design.

The announcement of these new leaders demonstrates the company’s vision and how MODE position themselves to become a strong second generation company, an employer of choice, and a firm that is renowned for quality across key areas of the market.
